COMMISSIONS
I accept a limited number of commissions throughout the year, creating original paintings inspired by the places, moments and details that hold meaning for you.
Each commission is created in my signature painting style, using your photographs, stories and ideas as a starting point for an original work of art.
HOW IT WORKS
01 | TELL ME YOUR IDEA
Share the story behind the painting, your preferred size, inspiration and any reference photographs you already have.
02 | RESERVE YOUR COMMISSION
Once we've established the scope, size and price, you'll receive a commission agreement. A 50% deposit officially reserves your place in my commission calendar.
03 | DEVELOP THE COMPOSITION
You'll receive a creative brief so I can learn more about the story and details behind your piece. From there, I'll develop composition studies and work with you to establish the final direction.
04 | PAINTING
Once the composition is approved, the painting begins. This is where you hand things over to me and I interpret the piece through my own artistic style.
05 | THE REVEAL
When your painting is complete, you'll receive a first look at the finished piece. The remaining balance is due at completion, and we'll arrange pickup or shipping once the artwork is ready to travel.

Please note: I don't create exact reproductions of photographs or other artworks. Reference images are used as a starting point for an original painting created in my own style.
INVESTMENT
Commission pricing varies depending on size, medium and complexity. Original commissions currently begin at $425 CAD.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your commission, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
TIMELINE
Please allow approximately 8 to 12 weeks for the commission process, depending on the size and complexity of the artwork. Oil paintings require additional drying time before they can be safely shipped or picked up.
If your commission is intended for a specific occasion or gift date, please include that information in your inquiry.

Can you paint from multiple photographs?
Yes, and in many cases that's actually preferable.
Will I see the composition before you begin?
Yes! We will discuss and work through the creative process together.
Can you recreate another painting or image?
No exact reproductions, but you can absolutely use inspiration to develop an original composition.
Do you ship?
Yes, shipping can be arranged and is quoted separately.
Do you offer framing?
Yes, framing can be arranged and is quoted separately.
